...I'll probably do Xbox Live Gold soon.
You should be able to get your first month of gold for free. Right now buy.com has a 12 month gold subscription for 35 bucks/free shipping.

I can't help but think that along with Steve's various email responses to customers, that Steve is morphing. Into what exactly, I'm not sure, but he seems to be more interested in responding to people. Maybe that new liver has something to do with it? At any rate, it's a very calculated move. Nothing he does is without a goal in mind.
Maybe Steve realizes that Apple isn't everything. Yea, people say he was bhuddist, but then people say they're christian and they aren't really.

I wonder if the difference is entirely due to the end user "group". Generally speaking, Mac users are more educated/free thinking types.

Is this an extra MacBook model in addition to the other MacBooks?
If so, then maybe it is a MacBook with discrete graphics, but still 13.3". I.e., something between the MacBook and the MacBook Pro. It might be replacing the current Black MacBook which isn't a great deal for what you get.
Otherwise it's a redesign to address all the current MacBook issues, and will be used across the range.
Merom may come to the original MacBook sooner, but it's pretty much guaranteed that this MacBook will utilise it.

Why does every headline have to be a question? look at the past three headlines. It's so annoying. Rephrase the headline.

The line was pretty mad, but it seemed to move rather quickly once the doors were opened at 6pm. My hat is off to those who in the queue who had a word with the queue cutters as well as the Apple staff. (Dear queue cutters get with the program, or go back to your friends at Microsoft.)
I was amazed at the number of people in the queue that didn't buy Leopard. LOL... was the lame free t-shirt really worth your time in the queue?
I was a bit embarrassed by all the hot women who asked us what we were queuing up for. Oops, was I really standing in a queue for 2 hours on a Friday night. Hell ya! I saw the ladies later with a big box in my pocket.
Apple you get poor marks for selling Leopard right by entrance door and free t-shirts. It was rather disorganized. (Lets hope you learn for next month's iPhone event.) Upstairs seemed like it could use a few more rows of seats.
I got the new OS. A belly full of sushi. A bloodstream full of alcohol. And, a much lighter wallet. Fun times. I love London!

The iPhone has a power source, unlike a typical card or keyfob, so I would think it could implement active RFID instead of passive.
In other words, have it ONLY functional when powered on, unlike the tag in an RFID card. Then it can be optional and up to the user—best of both worlds. Convenience AND privacy. I could accept a tiny battery drain for that flexibility.
And if you’re paranoid about whether it REALLY is turned off when it says, then you may as well be paranoid about whether there already IS a chip in your iPhone (and your shoes and your coffee) that they’re not telling you about :)
(I’d be interested to know whether active RFID could do what nkawtg72 suggested above: alert you when the tag is read. Can it know that a read has taken place or is it just a steady broadcast in one direction? A beep/vibrate would be a nice step up from what a simple card can do.)

Ahh my wet dream of John Carmack and Steve Jobs on the same stage gets a little closer.
A touchscreen is a HORRIBLE interface for an id game. Far worse than even a standard "stick" controller.

im a bored college student, not immature kid. A little smartass humor does not hurt in my opinion. Unnecessary one word posts are annoying though.

When i had surgery on my teeth like ten years ago they used a gas on me, i don't believe they use that anymore for anyone. I had surgery last july on my knee and they used IV therapy. And the last thing i said to the Doctor was "It tastes like burning" But seriously it tasted like burning.
I thought that was the coolest thing ever. It feels cold going into your arm and it burns down your throat for some reason.
You will be fine iGary so don't worry, i love anesthesia because it made me feel all loopy >_>
Enjoy.

The sample I see here shows a way to make a phone's games or videos interact with toys.
You already have a standard for this, connecting any media device in a network. Your phone, your camera, media device to your tv, game console, internet and the cloud etc. Microsoft and almost every leading manufacturer is already shipping and using devices or soon to release with this standard. Apple is just trying to not follow standard and over complicate for us users. Bottom line: This is not a good idea. It is inventing something that is already out as a standard in the industry.

You are completely, either willfully or not, ignorant of the situation in Wisconsin.
Remember, they had a surplus until their Governor decided to give big business a tax cut almost identical to the "Deficit" they're not facing.
Don't forget that the Union stripping bill that somehow is going to help with the fake deficit was passed only because it wasn't a revenue related bill.

Hmm, maybe I'm looking at it from the wrong perspective though, why don't you think it's clear?
Because most Apple products have hardware AND software so you might not know where to look for your specific issue/for the information you want.
For example if I was looking up information on the iPod Touch, there will be information on the hardware and information on the software, but they will be in different places.

Oh, wait, that may be a bit too forward. :oIn your case, it's just inaccurate. Shouldn't it be "Lick my nano"? :D
